3. What kind of technology does Kindori Moment adopt to ensure that the fruits are always in fresh condition and retains its natural nutrients?
Kindori Moments is using the state-of-the-art blast freezing technology.
So, what is “blast freezing” technology?
Blast freezing, the state-of-the-art freezing technology that we use at Kindori, allows fruits to be frozen solid within minutes. This enables to retain the vitamins, enzymes and nutrients in our products.
The Food Safety America acknowledges that one of the benefits of blast freezer is that it can help to preserve the nutrients and natural quality of the food/ fruits. Another benefit of blast freezing is that it acts as one of the most effective weapons in fight against bacteria. When the temperature is lowered below freezing point, the growth of micro-organisms decreases rapidly. This is due not only to the lowering of the product temperature but also to the reduction in free liquid water activity.
3. Cleanliness & healthiness
Our central kitchen has been set up with UV light/ O3 water filtration system to kill the germ and bacteria to ensure our machine and equipment always in optimal cleanliness & healthiness situation.
4. How do I know how much is the delivery fees? How can I entitle for free delivery? And how do I know whether delivery service is available at my area?
Delivery costs vary depending on the destination and total purchase value of the order. You may check the delivery cost by selecting the delivery option (please select the delivery date & time slot) at the checkout screen.
Same day delivery is also available with extra charges (for selected products only).
5. How do you ensure that the ice cream is still frozen when it reaches customers?
All the frozen products are delivered in cooler box with sufficient ice packs to keep the products in good order. We will inform our customer in advance to notify the delivery.
We normally pack more than enough ice packs for customers; however, we strongly encourage customers to store the cakes into freezer once receive.
The dry ice packs that we use are with latest technology, imported from Australia. First, for our customers’ safety. Second, to ensure the ice cream cakes are of original shape and coldness when they arrive in customers’ hands. Finally, it is everyone’s responsibility to do the best to protect the environment. The traditional CO2 dry ice is made of carbon dioxide gas, converted into liquid form and become solid dry ice through pressurized and refrigerated process. This type of dry ice is generally not toxic; however, it can be pretty dangerous both to handle as well as to inhale, especially in a small space that isn’t well-ventilated. As dry ice melts, it turns into carbon dioxide gas…
Therefore, we had stopped using traditional CO2 dry ice for a while now.
